Hello, my name is Robyn and I would like to welcome you to my online book store, Scotsglen's Book Realm. My aim is to provide outstanding customer service, so if you don't see what you want please feel free to let me know. It may be here but not yet listed. Even if I don't have the book you are seeking I will do my utmost to locate a copy for you. Please take your time, look around and hopefully you will like what you see. The books here are all in stock and will be posted to you as soon as payment is cleared. This is a shop full of pre-read books, so any flaws will be described to the best of my ability. My stock includes rare, out of print and vintage books. From time to time, there will also be new books for sale.
You can click on the link below to go to my store and find all the books listed there.
There is a guest book so if you would like to leave some feedback it would really be appreciated , especially if you have suggestions on how the store could be improved. My phone number, fax and email address are also available on the contact page. You'll find fiction, non-fiction, children's books, gardening books and magazines, back issues of Grass Roots and Earth Garden, as well as Parade magazines dating back to the 1950s. There are humourous books and comics. If you like biographies and memoirs there are those too. I'm also including books on genealogy and local histories of various areas for the increasing numbers of people whose interests lie there. Being a keen genealogist myself I hope that area will increase greatly over time.

From the dustjacket:A map of the Middle East of about 2,000 years ago shows Sumer where we now see modern-day Iraq. The Sumerians were an extraordinary people. They were engineers who built irrigation canals towater the desert land. They invented the wheel and used it for their pottery, wagons and war-chariots.
Their finest achievement and chief legacy to succeeding generations was the invention of writing!
